Alek M. Orloff
Alpine Waste & Recycling
Chief Financial Officer
Alek Orloff is the
finance specialist for Alpine. He administers all of Alpine’s
financing, cash management, accounting, reporting, tax,
insurance, payroll, HR, legal and information system functions.
As CFO, he manages Alpine’s
capital structure, contributing to Alpine’s appearance on the
Denver Business Journal’s list of Fastest Growing Colorado
Private Small Companies for three consecutive years. He develops
all financial statements and is in constant communication with
shareholders and lenders regarding their investments in Alpine.
As a member of Alpine’s Board of Directors, he collaborates in
setting corporate strategy and ensuring that capital is
available for its execution.
Prior to Alpine, he worked for
The Festival Companies in southern California, where he was an
associate in charge of real estate acquisitions and
development. He served as the finance specialist in client
meetings to negotiate and communicate the terms of investment in
retail and industrial development projects. He evaluated over
$75 million in acquisition targets and developed cash flow
projections for over $100 million in development deals.
As a senior consultant and
business analyst for Deloitte Consulting, LLP, in Dallas, he
specialized in financial modeling, emergency cash management,
and mergers and acquisitions for distressed companies. His
clients included a $5 billion Belgian retailer and a U.S.
regional grocery chain; and he spent time in central Russia.
He graduated with honors from the
UCLA Anderson School of Management in Los Angeles with a Master
of Business Administration degree, where he received the John E.
Anderson Fellowship and served as a teaching assistant in
management communications. He completed his undergraduate
studies with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Colorado College,
graduating magna cum laude. |
